War raging, bullets whizzing, artillery blasting.
Reverence amid the storm.
Wet socks, dirty clothes, old food.
Friendship, Brotherhood, familiar feelings.
No sleep, always on guard, death all around.
In the darkness there is light.
Clean, reborn, peace restored.
